Day Out in Cambridge

Sam, Suzanne, baby Joshua and I had a lovely day out in Cambridge. The first challenge was fitting us all, a car seat and a pram in the A1 - but we did it!
It was a beautiful day - sunny with blue skies, so perfect for a wander about.
We parked in a road near the park and walked through to the city centre - there were cows having a stroll too!

      

   

 

              

                

We did some shopping, had lunch and stopped for a drink by the canal at a lovely little pub - and the weather was beautiful!

Lunch in London

Sam and I were in London for an appointment at UCLH and afterwards went for lunch at The Wesley. Sam had a groupon voucher so we got a good deal on our burger and homemade chips - very delicious!

Family Day at Billing

We had a lovely family time this weekend. Mum and Dad rented a caravan at Billing - and Louise and Andy rented one next door. This gave everyone a base for the day. Mum and Dad stayed there Friday night so we fed the cats for her. Most other people joined them during the day so they could play rounders and basket ball - despite the rain they had a good time. We also watched an old video that Jayne had recorded from 1996 - great fun!
In the evening we had a drink at the pub - where Ian met his new pool partner!  

        

We then had a meal - not at the booked restaurant but one just outside the campsite. The original place had gone downhill and had run out of steak so we moved on quickly. Back at the caravan we had Birthday cake with very impressive candles for everyone who has a Birthday soon.

Sam and I left at midnight as she was tired by then.
