New Car

After much deliberation Sam and I have ordered a new car - an Audi A6 Avant. It will take three months to arrive, The A1 is a lovely little car and I will be sad to see it go but it is too small for our current needs. The new car has lots of lovely extras but the most exciting is the park assist!

Doctor Pip

After much hard work Pip has passed her exams and is now a qualified doctor! We are all very proud of her. Graduation Day is the 4th July!

Conservatory Base Continues

The builders were back today to finish off the base. The conservatory is now ordered and will be fitted on 25th July - four weeks time!

Wall in place, sand down. Insulation and damp proof membrane laid on top of this.

Concrete leveled off - needs to dry now!

Fathers Day

Most of the family gathered for a Fathers Day celebration at Mum's. The weather was beautiful and a fun afternoon was had by all. Steven was on crutches due to a football injury - surgery on his knee tomorrow!

Conservatory Update

The builder came today to start putting down the footings - phase one complete. He will be back next week to finish it off. Sam has emailed the conservatory company to let them know to start constructing it.

Sam's Birthday

It was Sam's Birthday today. It started with a test drive of an Audi A6 Avant in MK. We both liked the car and it will be very practical with Marcus.
Sally and Lauren came to visit this morning and then we went out for lunch at Sizzall in town. It was nice that Pip could join us too. Hanna, Rob and Theo made har for everyone to wear.

Hanna and I took Theo and Marcus to the NCT fundraiser today in Flitwick. They both had a nice time - T likes the singing and puppets best. He also had his hand painted and munched his way through a cake. Marcus had his first professional  photography session - and was very smiley, after a very grumpy morning.

Car Booting

We popped along to the Redborne carboot today and grabbed a few bargains. We bought a couple of tops for Marcus at 50p each, a bigger bouncy chair for £3.00 and two wooden play gyms - £7.00 for the two, knocked down from £10.00. The lady selling them said there was a gym and and extra bar but when we got home and looked there were two complete Heimess wooden gyms. Sam checked on the net and the cheapest she could find them was £50.00 each - what a bargain! Marcus loves them both.
