Marcus has had a busy month learning new words and actions - he can now say door, shoes, see (whilst pointing), there and see you. He uses 'undu' (thank you) for please and thank you and makes brum brum noises when pushing a toy car or riding his scuttle bug. Most used words are 'all gone', no no, undu, door and see!
He now enjoys waving and blowing a kiss when you say goodbye - which includes to inanimate objects as well as people, and is beginning to do 'high five'! He is competent - and confident at climbing!
Going on the trampoline has improved his jumping - he can now get his feet a little way off the floor.
At the moment Marcus is a little shy about going into a new place - and will freeze in the doorway or 'melt' on the floor and need to be carried in. However, when he is in a familiar place he is happy and confident.
Olu is a constant companion - from breakfast till bedtime! I made Olu some pj's - which Marcus hates! We have bought some spare Olus in case of disaster and so we can always have a clean friend to play with!
Marcus loves to help too - and watches everything we do with great interest! He loves credit cards and tickets and constantly tries to empty our purses and wallets so we have given him an old wallet with some cards of his own to play with, which he thinks is great. Marcus understands most things you say to him and will fetch his shoes, close the fridge and find Olu etc when you ask him to.
Favourite foods include all soft fruits, grated cheese and sausages!
Tantrums feature regularly - but he is easily distracted thank goodness!
Marcus is approximately 82cm tall - he wouldn't stand still for long, and weighs 12.5 KG (27lb 8oz).
