Monthly Update - Two and a Half

Marcus is now two and a half. He is still fiercely independent - maybe more so now he has so much language. He has strong opinions on what he likes and doesn't like!

Marcus still enjoys playing with vehicles - especially dustbin lorries, and makes up stories to narrate his play. The sand pit also remains a favourite - Marcus loves to be out in the garden!

 

Painting and sticking are also favourite activities.



Marcus can negotiate round in his truck using his feet. He is getting better at steering too. He likes to climb up the ladder to his monkey bars - but can't get get onto them! He loves to go to the play park.


Marcus has begun to stop having an afternoon nap - unless he has had a very late night. He still likes to take Olu and various other friends to bed. Olu comes out with us too - and likes to see the trains with Marcus.

Fancott Arms

Marcus has favourite stories that he requests often - including The Little Red Train, The Tiger Who Came To Tea and Peace At Last. We have at least one story before bed every night.

Duplo is still great fun!
