We had a lovely picnic today at Wrest Park in Silsoe. It looked a bit doubtful this morning as we had thunder, lightening and heavy rain but we decided to chance it - and it turned into a really hot afternoon.
Theo enjoyed playing in the park while we waited for Jayne and Steven to arrive.

We had our picnic in the shade and then a stroll through the grounds, finishing up in the house. An ice lolly completed our day - and we all needed one to cool down.
