Eleven Months Today

Marcus is now eleven months old - his first Birthday is so close! This month Marcus has taken three steps, developed a keen interest to walk holding a hand and learnt how to climb the stairs. Mummy Sam has fitted a stairgate now! He stands strongly without support. He uses some words now - especially oh oh, teddy and mamma. Marcus is very independent and will fold in half on the floor if thwarted in any way - but he likes to help too, especially emptying the dishwasher or washing machine. He is beginning to use cutlery - if the mummies put the food on it for him he can now put it in his mouth.
He is especially interested in playing with bricks, magazines and pots and pans at the moment. We have started a Sign and Sign class too which he enjoys - as well as continuing to attend baby groups on Mondays and Wednesdays. Right at the end of this month, after a long wait Marcus's third tooth popped out - one of the top front ones!
