Today was our little man's first Birthday - the first year has gone so fast! We had a lovely day with visits from Dot, Nanny Jean, Debbie and Lewis and big Sis Charlotte. We tried to Skype with Nanny and Granddad Oz but the connection was poor.
Marcus enjoyed opening his gifts and playing with them. He particularly likes his elephant posting game that Debbie bought, the scuttle bug from the mummies and a book called Heads that Charlotte and James bought. Nanny and Granddad Oz sent a parcel with some UV rated swimwear which will be great in the summer.
We had a small cake and sang Happy Birthday while Charlotte was here - we have another cake for Sunday when we are having a little tea party. Mummy Sam helped with the candle!
