Marcus had a trip to theatre to have his chin stitched - but healed up quickly with a very neat scar.

Marcus has continued to build on his skills this month - toilet training is going well and he will now wear his big boy pants. We had a bit of a lapse while Marcus was poorly with a cold but back on track now.

His speech and vocabulary are also developing well - Marcus has learnt over a dozen new words this month and his speech is becoming clearer. He loves to chat away - especially saying hello and goodbye to everyone and everything!

Marcus has been honing his building skills with his new duplo trainset - and he is also playing imaginatively with the people and animals - making them climb, sit and ride on the train.

He has been practicing jumping- although Marcus can't get two feet off the floor yet he can bounce on the bed or trampoline. He can also do a step or two down stairs without holding on.
Marcus is still interested in trying to dress himself - trying to pull on socks or pants and pushing arms into sleeves. He can pull his trousers up now. He also likes to help to dress Olu!
Drawing and playdough are favourite activities at the moment - along with duplo of course. He loves to hide in our bed and still loves hats and bags!
Our visit to the farm was very enjoyable - Marcus loves animals and is confident feeding them - and he stroked the rabbits and goats very gently.
Marcus enjoyed his birthday - and was great at opening his presents and cards this year!
It has been lovely watching Marcus develop from a baby to a little boy over the last year!
