Today was Mothers Day. Pip and Liam came to stay yesterday and bought Sam and I some beautiful tulips and wax flowers from M and S. They (Pip and Liam, not the tulips) spent the night and this morning with us - which was really lovely.
This afternoon we collected Charlotte and went to Mums for afternoon tea. Most of the family were gathered and we had fun chatting and eating delicious food. Mum had made three different cakes - a lemon drizzle, a Victoria sponge with fresh cream and strawberries and a cookie cake made with home made cookies. They were equally delicious!
Charlotte bought me some lovely flowers too - tulips, but a different colour to the ones from Pip and Liam, and also some cream roses. I added the roses to the flowers Sam sent last week when I was sick.
I had a nice message from Robin too - which completed an enjoyable day!
