Sickness

It has been a time of sickness - Dad and Claire have both been in hospital and I have had a cold , which started as a sniffle then turned into a full blown cough, cold and sore throat.

Dad went into hospital with chest pains. They said at first it was his heart, then muscular and later a possible blood clot in his lung. He was in hospital a week, had a barrage of test and in the end they found nothing of note.

Claire was admitted to hospital with a chest infection and fluid on the lung. After some tests she was told her cancer is back on the chest wall and related to her breast cancer. She will start more chemo in three weeks time.

I came home from work sick on Tuesday - and am only just starting to feel well today. Sam sent me some lovely flowers to cheer me up.
