Playset Update

Marcus has enjoyed the playset over the summer and we decided it was time to add on some more activities. We had a trip to Wicken Toys to see what was on offer and, after much deliberation, chose a climbing wall and a two position swing arm with monkey bars. Marcus checked out the gocarts while we were there!

 


The parts we had ordered arrived on a really wet day - luckily we were able to put them straight into the garage until we were ready to assemble them.

James, Charlotte and Anya came over one Sunday and Sam and James assembled the climbing wall first - it took a bit of figuring out but they got it done fairly quickly.

A couple of weeks later they came back and James helped Sam to move the ladder and fix the swing arm in position. The swings were tested by the small people - one swing seat Sam bought on ebay, the other James was given - and we bought a small adult swing for 50p at the carboot. There are lots of accessories we can add at a later date to the swing arm as Marcus grows!
