Over the last few weeks Sam and I have done lots of small jobs around the house - but they all make a difference to how the house looks.
I started with Marcus's room - painting the ceiling, woodwork and walls. We chose duck egg blue for the walls. I made curtains to fit the windows too as they are a non standard size.

How it started! |

Ceiling in process or being painted |
Sam sanded down the brown skirting in the cloakroom and finished the edging round the shower tray - I painted these with white satinwood.

First coat! |
Sam also removed the wooden picture frame from the living room wall - it had been used to display photos. I have painted it over with a couple of coats of emulsion to make it easir to cover when we decorate.

Sam also removed and filled the wooden blocks in the hallway - pictures had been screwed to them.
This weekend Sam rendered the edge of the patio - but ran our of concrete before she had quite finished. It looks much neater - and there is just a short length left to finish.
