I was fed up at looking at the value tissue boxes - they are not the most attractive, so decided to make a cover for the box.
Attempt number one turned out too small - so that is being used for a few loose tissues in the guest room. Attempt number two is a little big and needs a bit of tweaking but I am pleased with the overall effect. I used this pattern tissue box cover tutorial which has clear instructions and useful illustrations.
I made three different ones, they are all lines in contrasting fabric and I tried both styles of opening. I think the overlapped one works best! Click on pictures to enlarge.
