House for Sale

Well we had a viewing today - and an offer subject to contract, so we wait and see!!

For Sale

Well the house is on the market now - board outside already. We will have to spend a few weeks being ultra tidy in case of viewings. Lets hope it sells soon so we can make an offer on the new house that we both love - time will tell!

House Hunting

First day of house hunting today. Sam, Charlotte and I had a look round six houses - plus one we weren't booked to look at, as it had a Taylors sign outside so we thought it was the one we were meant to be viewing unaccompanied. The lady was suprised but quite willing for us to have a look round lol. It was too big for us but still interesting to view!!
We found one house we love and one we like a lot - so next step is to see what we can get a mortgage for.
Hope all will come right as this is the start of the next phase of our lives together.

Kangacrew

Well I have been to sign up with an agency today - lots of form filling and policies to read, but a change from writing the policies lol.
It sounds as though they will have lots of work for me so I may not get the break I was looking for but it will be good to have some money coming in. Will also give some time for Sam to find a new job so we will know where we need to relocate to.

Some people are doing my head in at the moment - stress levels already running high and I don't need other people's problems too -ahhhh.
Will be glad when this month is over!!!

Enjoying The Rat Pack

I never imagined having four rats as pets would be so rewarding and entertaining. They are lovely, and all such characters. They are clever too and learn fast so Sam is going to start training them to do some new stuff soon.
They love porridge, scrambled eggs and chicken bones and can demolish a monkey nut shell in seconds. Boris is definitely the leader and the most friendly. Clive is a sleepy head, Harry a food fiend and Alby the one who makes sure everyone is clean and happy as well as trampling all over them.
I would definitely recommend them as pets.

Difficult Week

It has been a difficult week - packing up the Nursery, relocating items around the Centre and throwing away rubbish or broken / worn out things. Had a few tears and smiled at some good memories too.

New Year

Well this is the start of 2011! Started with champagne and a skype call with Vickie and jerry in Oz, who have just got up lol - how odd when we were toasting the New Year.
Hopefully the New Year will bring good things for us all - especially new jobs for Sam and I.
Have not thought about resolutions yet - so will give it some thought tomorrow.
