Dolls Clothes

Poor Theo had a dolly for his buggy - but no clothes for it. I made some nappies and a quick outfit from the sleeves of an old top.

Sunday Lunch

Rob and Hanna invited us over for Sunday lunch - Rob cooked for us all and it was delicious. Marcus had a nice time playing with Theo - and Sam and I had cuddles with Rowan. He is growing so fast - three weeks old now!

Nine Months today

First tooth!
In the last month Marcus has grown two teeth - yay! He can now also kneel and go from kneeling to standing. He cruises confidently along the furniture and pulls himself up on everything - including on Casey!

Marcus has discovered the stairs and can get at least two steps up before someone thwarts him!
His favourite toys are empty boxes - and the metal dog bowls, which make a great noise. He also is beginning to enjoy pushalong toys.

Pulling up on everything - sturdy or not!
Marcus can feed himself finger foods very competently now as he has learnt to open his fist up and push the food into his mouth.

He still loves waving, clapping and shaking his head from side to side and giggling. He has started his second term of swimming lessons now too. Marcus prefers to sleep on his tummy still and will flip over if you put him on his back.

Swimming - Term Two

Marcus has started his second lot of swimming lessons  - as Sam had a cold I took him for the first time - while she watched.
We have some pictures that a photographer took at the end of last term - that might be used for publicity on the Happy Tiddler's website.

Visiting Aunty Pip

Today we has our monthly visit to see Aunty Pip - and the weather was good again despite a really wet week.
Sam made an amazing vegan pizza with vegan sausage and samphire on it and cooked some Indian snacks the night before, ready for lunch. Marcus enjoyed it all - including his first taste of doughnuts.

Yum!

We had a great walk - lasting over two hours, which the dogs enjoyed too. Then we headed home having had a nice time. Next month Pip is going to come and see us here at home.

Just woken up

Remembrance Poppies

This year was the 100 anniversary of the start of The First World War. To commemorate this ceramic poppies were displayed round the Tower of London - one for each person who died.
I took Marcus down on the train to see the poppies - a wonderful experience even though the display was being dismantled. There were still crowds there wanting to see the display.
Sam came to meet us so she could see them too. The weather had been very wet in the morning - but the sun came out for us when we got to the Tower!
