Lovely Family Weekend

Robin, Hanna and little Theo came to stay for the weekend. They arrived on Friday afternoon and left this afternoon.It was lovely to spend time with them.

On Saturday we went into Dunstable for some shopping and Theo had a play in the park. As the weather was nice we had a BBQ for lunch. In the afternoon we popped over to see mum and Dad.

On Sunday Charlotte came over to see Robin - it was Mothers Day and it was lovely to have all three of our children together.

Robin and family left around two in order to get home at a reasonable time. They will be back for a weeks holiday in May.

Sam and I opened a bank account for Marcus today - well technically two accounts, one is a regular saver and the other a young saver account. The first offers 6% interest to a maximum of £100 a month with no withdrawals. The other is 3% at the moment but any amount can be paid in or withdrawn. Both are with the Halifax - the best deal at the moment.

First Car Boot This Year

Sam, Marcus and I went to the car boot at MK Bowl today. We were very organised and left the house at 8.45!
The weather was perfect for a car boot and there were lots of sellers. We managed to bag ourselves a few bargains.

A bath rest - £1.50 (£11.00 0n Amazon)

A widgey cushion and spare cover - £6.00 (Cushion £25.00 spare cover £10.00 on Amazon)

A baseball cap - newborn size and a baby swim nappy - 20p each (cap £5 Next, swim nappy £8.00 Mothercare)

Two newborn outfits 10p each ( Around £5.00 each)

A large playmat £1.50 (£15.00 on Ebay)
Still drying - will add a picture later
Replacement changing mat for our pink lining changing bag - 20p (£8.00 on Pink Lining website)

We were very pleased with our purchases. Marcus was a good boy - he had one feed and one nappy change and slept for most of the rest of the time - just cried a bit when he had some wind!
