Audi Day 2

I didn't expect to be getting another new Audi so soon - but here it is, an Audi A6 Avant. We need a bigger car to fit in the baby and two dogs with their associated stuff - so now we have one.
Charlotte came with us for the big reveal!

No scratch wash for this car!

Nice big boot!

Brick Bag / Play Mat

I have been making this for a couple of weeks whenever I have had a spare moment or two - and it is finally finished!

Cut two circles

Cut enough strips 3 inches wide to fit round circle. Fold in half and stitch

Then pin and stitch to one circle

Pin right sides of both circle together, stitch leaving a gap to turn through

Top stitch

Add draw string or cord

Add one small child and some bricks

Pull string when play has finished to make a storage bag!

Helping Hand

Whilst out walking the dogs today James saw us and stopped for a chat. Just as he was leaving a lady was having trouble starting her car - so James and Sam lent a helping hand. They got it going for her in no time!

Sam and the lady push - James runs alongside

Then jumps in to bump start it!

Short Break In Lymington

Sam, Marcus and I had a short break in Lymington at short notice. We had planned to spend a day with Pip and Liam but ended up booking a self catering apartment called Squirrels, and staying for three nights. It was great to see them both - and Marcus enjoyed his first holiday! Packing the car was a challenge - but Sam managed to fit everything in.
