Mead Farm Trip

Marcus and I had a lovely day at Mead Open Farm today with Christopher, Jenny and Jon - yesterday was very wet but today was lovely and sunny. The field where I parked was very boggy - but the beast coped with it with just a little wheel spin!

We arrived just in time for the Bunny Hop - both the boys loved stroking the rabbits and guinea pigs.

We went to see the ducks, goats and sheep next - and the pigs, cows and horses. Marcus was very confident feeding the goats and sheep. As it is half term the farm was very busy and we didn't get a chance to feed a lamb with a bottle of milk.

I don't think the cow saw him!

We had our lunch in the picnic barn - it wasn't too busy. After lunch we did the Chicken Chat - Marcus liked the chickens best!

Then we spent a bit of time in the soft play to let the boys have a good run around!

Then there was just time for a quick goodbye to the animals before heading home - Marcus was asleep before I had loaded the buggy in the car!
