Holiday in Milford on Sea

July 2016
Sam, Marcus and I, along with Nanny and Granddad had a week away in Milford On Sea. The dogs came too! We stayed in a little house in Windmill Close which was perfect for us all. The town centre was walking distance, as was the sea front.

On Sunday we went to have a BBQ at Jerry's cousins house - Sonya and Lee and their daughter Ellen made us very welcome.

Delicious food
We bought a ticket for the open top tour bus - which we used on two separate days. The first time was with Pip and Liam while Sam was sailing with Microsoft. We sat at the back of the bus, upstairs, and it was very windy and cold. The bus took us across the New Forest to Barton on Sea - where we had lunch then headed home!

Calm before the storm!

Marcus loved it!
On Tuesday we drove to Exbury Gardens -a beautiful place to visit and they have a steam train!

In the evening we had a walk down to the sea front in Milford.
We are all in this one!

On Wednesday we had lunch out and then a walk to Sturt Pond where there were some people crabbing. arcus's hat blew in and a man fished it out for him. Casey also went for a swim!

Seconds later Casey fell in!

Thursday saw us back on the tour bus - this time going to Hythe. It was warmer today because we could sit at the front - although I started off downstairs!
At Hythe we had a picnic lunch at then went for a ride on the oldest pier train in the world. We found a park for Marcus to have a run around in - Nanny and Granddad sat on a bench as Granddads hip was sore. In the evening we had a drink at The Cave - I came back early with Marcus while the others stayed for a couple more drinks. Sam did a wine tasting.

On Friday Vickie and Jerry went shopping in Lymmington for an outfit for Laura's wedding. Sam, Marcus and I had a walk around Milford and a picnic on the seafront followed by an ice-cream.

Lunch

Marcus was excited to see the tour bus go by.
On Saturday we headed home - but we met up with Sonya and Lee on the way as I had left a couple of cardigans behind at their house. It was a lovely break and a beautiful part of the country to stay in.
